The Town of Colrain Massachusetts was founded in 1761 and is located in Franklin County. The town was named after Lord Colrain of Northern Ireland.

Colrain contains about 2000 year round residents.

Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to stop at the annual Colrain Village Fair which takes place during the month of September. Come enjoy the fun with games, food, crafts and more.
